How the SyreN slurry stabilisation system works

The slurry  is acidified during spreading via a dribble hose or trailing shoe distributor. In a mixing chamber directly in front of the linkage, the system mixes the required amount of acid into the slurry. A pH meter continuously regulates the quantity of acid required. All the parts are acid-proof, from the front tank to the mixing chamber. Aside from this, everything else is just normal slurry technology. The driver uses the system to specify the pH value at which they want to lay down the slurry – usually 6. When the acid is added, the mixture starts to foam, and its volume increases significantly. This is why it is not possible to acidify the slurry earlier on in the process, in the tank.

Maximum safety for your slurry spreading

In addition to optimum use of nutrients, we also consider safety in the use of our equipment of the utmost importance,

  • So we always use double-skin IBC tanks. For safety reasons, these are replaced every five years.
  • We use non-drip couplings.
  • Our hoses are made of stainless steel and Teflon, so there is no need to rinse out the system after use. For safety reasons, the hose material is replaced every six years.
  • There are two water tanks on board for decoupling the system from the tractor and carrying out a safety cleaning procedure after changing the tank.
  • The system is equipped with an ADR safety package.
  • There is a subscription for every system: The pH sensor head incl. calibration equipment, new acid-proof gloves are supplied once per year.
  • Dosing is not enabled until the corresponding signal is received from the safety sensors.
  • A camera system helps to keep drivers safe on the road.

Features of SyreN

The liquid manure acidification system SyreN is built to the latest standard for communication between tractor and device (ISOBUS). As a result, it can use the tractor’s existing electronics systems. This means there is no need to lay new cables or install new control boxes in the cab. There is also an option to retrofit a terminal.
In order to ensure that no-one comes into contact with the acid, the SyreN liquid manure stabilization system is equipped with a dry coupling handle that fits the spider installed as standard on the pallet tank. There is also another coupling sleeve on the water tank next to the pallet tank. When you’ve spread your last load of liquid manure and want to detach the SyreN system from your tractor, simply move the SyreN dry coupling handle from the pallet tank onto the coupling sleeve of the water tank. Once this is done, a rinsing program will activate in the tractor cab terminal.
The pH measurement sensor is an important part of the SyreN liquid manure stabilization system, as it ensures that the added acid is effective. The pH sensor is located on the distributor of the dribble bar linkage, and measures the liquid manure after the acid has been added, just before it is spread.

There are a number of different additives that can be added and spread for different purposes, such as phosphorus, Piadin and trace elements.
If you are already using your ISOBUS port for a tanker, we can deliver a terminal for you separately.
In order to prevent danger when pulling out onto the road and generally keep you safe on the road, the front tank is equipped with a camera system.
