The new professional suction coupling for wastewater disposal
EasyConnect Eco WD
With the new Vogelsang EasyConnect Eco WD, Vogelsang is making a new professional suction coupling available for sanitary disposal in the railway sector.
Easier handling and improved user hygiene were at the fore in the development of this innovative connector.
The result is a suction coupling that has been optimized in terms of ergonomics and safety, relieving the user, simplifying the disposal process and making it safer.
The core element of the technical solution of the EasyConnect Eco WD is the new coupling mechanism.
The side locking elements can be moved axially by operating the smooth-running lever. Unlike on traditional lever arm couplings, there is no need to flip the locking elements.
The new coupling mechanism means that the operator no longer needs to put his hands into the contamination area during the coupling and uncoupling process. The contact with the wastewater is significantly reduced, which reduces the risk of contamination a lot.
Due to its compact design, the suction coupling can also be attached to the nozzle of the wastewater tank in confined installation spaces.
Robust plastic elements allow a lower weight than that of conventional couplings made of steel or other metallic materials – less than five kilograms. This also simplifies handling for the user.
The advantages of the EasyConnect Eco WD at a glance
Standard- Coupling | Basic WD | Eco WD | |
Weight-optimized | - | x | x |
Low drip amounts | - | x | x |
Less space requirements | - | - | x |
Improved user hygiene | - | - | x |
Easier handling | - | - | x |
Of course, the EasyConnect Eco WD continues to meet the requirements for rail applications for vehicle wastewater disposal in accordance with TSI, UIC563 and DIN EN16922: 2017.
The EasyConnect Eco WD impresses with its improved design and many advantages that will also improve your system.
