Hose reel system for wastewater disposal and water supply
Hose reel systems for railway water supply and vacuum wastewater disposal If no conventional supply and disposal modules such as the Vogelsang TUnit or CabinetUnit can be used due to special structural conditions, the ReelUnit represents an ideal alternative. The ReelUnits are professional hose reel systems which are used both to empty toilet retention tanks using suction (ReelUnit WD) and to supply passenger trains with water (ReelUnit WS). Depending on the requirements, compact multi-row or particularly slim single-row hose reel systems are available.
Underfloor hose reel solutions
Hose reel system ReelUnit U
The ReelUnit U is a supply and disposal module specially developed for use in narrow aisles between tracks. By installing the module in the ground, the intrusion of machinery equipment into the railway loading-gauge can be avoided. For maintenance and service, the ReelUnit components requiring maintenance can be lifted out of the housing so that they are easily accessible at the walkway level.

Stationary hose reel solutions
Hose reel system ReelUnit S
Stationary, above-ground hose reel systems for disposal (WD) or water filling (WS) are combined under the name ReelUnit S. Apart from spring hose reels, motor-driven hose reels are also available, which allow a reliable handling of extended hoses length. For outdoor installation, the ReelUnits can also be equipped with an insulated housing and heaters to prevent freezing.

If water supply and waste water disposal hoses have to be provided flexibly at different working positions, the ReelUnit M is the ideal solution. Hose reels mounted on a trolley or cart allow the units to be used wherever they are needed.

Similar to the Vogelsang TUnit SP or the CabinetUnit SP, this variant is designed as a stand-alone solution with an integrated vacuum pump unit. With the ReelUnit SP, passenger trains toilet reservoir tanks can be emptied independently of a centralised vacuum system.
